15 month check up

Charlee headed to the doctor today for her 15 month check up and took it like a champ!! She was suppossed to go on Monday but because of a stomach bug she wasn't able to, so she went today.

She is growing like a weed and starting to thin out as well. She also had to get shots today and she took them like a champ.

In the above picture she is looking at the stat sheet the doctor's office provides you at the well baby check ups to make sure she is on track:)

not a moring person

Charlee is not a morning person and when she wakes up she needs time.. she actually needs a lot of time before she is ready to deal with anyone.. and sometimes her hair is a little crazy as well!!

She had a great weekend!! She was busy playing!! She loves playing ball still and when she goes to get the ball in her cute little voice she says " I got it".. it just makes you smile.

She is also talking more and more.. she walks around the house yelling for me with her always funny Mom, Mom, but it doesn't sound like mom it sounds like a goat.. which is just to cute!!


She stays busy by playing and following around Zoey as well, most of the time they play pretty well together mainly because Charlee does what ever Zoe tell her to do:)

Good Weekend!

We had a good weekend!

Friday night we stayed at home, baked some cookies and had a great time!!

Saturday morning we hung out, worked on cleaning up the house and spending time as a family.

Saturday afternoon Zoe and I went bowling and Jake and Charlee decided to stay home, since Charlee was taking a nap.

Saturday night we had a small little get together, to watch the Bronco game. Charlee had a great time eating pizza, watching football and having a great time!!

Sunday morning we went to church after hanging out with Papa John for awhile.. it was a great morning!!

Sunday afternoon Charlee took a nap while Jake and Zoe went sledding it was just a little bit to cold for Charlee to brave the cold.

Charlee has been busy shutting doors (but not knowing how to open them;)), doing all sorts of growling, talking up a storm (not that you can understand it:)) she has really started to show all of her personality and I love it..

This morning while I was running Charlee was sitting on the guest bed watching Little Bear all kicked back with her hands behind her head and just smiling away!! So Cute!!

Starting 2012

2012 is off to a much better start for Charlee, the ear infection has cleared up and the teeth have all arrived for the time being... and believe it or not Charlee even likes to get her teeth brushed which makes it so much easier, now if I only could get her to like the finger nail clippers:)

The weather has been nice so we have spent plenty of time playing outside, going for walk in the wagon and enjoying the unseasonably warm January weather.. it will soon end so we must enjoy it now...

We of course have also been playing inside as well, its warm.. but not warm enough to play outside all the time!!

Charlee loves to play with any toy that she can pull, push, drag or carry... she has a great time with all of them!!

She had been discovering her ability to jump.. she pulls out the jumping almost anywhere.. she is the best at in her crib and if you take her out before she is done she will let you know.

She is also starting to use a lot more words, give hugs and kiss's willing and having a great time.

Charlee also loves to sit on the couch and watch TV and hang out.. she is also a big fan of the Ipad, but she gets mad when she doesn't get to play.. she doesn't just like to watch:)

Happy New Year

So the start of 2012 has to be better then the end of 2011 for Mrs. Charlee Austin... she ended it with a bang... doubling the number of teeth that she has and an ear infection to go along with it.. she was miserable and did a great job of letting everyone around her know all about it but you couldn't help but feel so sorry for her.. she had to be sooo uncomfortable!

We spend new years eve day at the doctor and then getting a prescription.. and then home to snuggle with a long winters nap on tap as well.

Needless to say the new years celebration was pretty much nil since Charlee was exhausted and finally able to sleep so she was in bed by 7:30...

2011 was Charlee's first full year and my oh my has she changed.. last new years she hung out in the bouncy seat.. now it isn't uncommon to find her jumping on a bed somewhere, fighting with her sister, and generally having a great time!! She is such a happy free spirit.. I love the fact that she isn't a morning person, wants to wake up on her own, has lots of things to tell everyone, loves to yell at Alyce, can hold her own in a fight and has a smile that will melt even the hardest of hearts.. she is beautiful.. here is to many many more years of beauty through Charlee's eyes!
