Riding in the little red wagon!

Tonight Charlee went for her first wagon ride up the Marlee and Maddie's house.. she didn't get to pick the destination but she sure did like the mode of transportation.

Colorado Trip

Friday we headed to Colorado. Saturday morning everyone was up nice and early so we went to breakfast before heading over to austin and colton's.... it was so much fun to watch the kids play together. After playing at the house, we headed to Heritage Square. The big kids got to ride rides and the little kids got to ride in each others strollers:)

Charlee thought Colton's stroller was pretty cool and had a great time riding around in it!

Monday morning we headed to the Zoo with Aunt Joan... it was a lot of fun!

Charlee was a great zoo visitor other then she didn't like many of the animals and wanted to watch them from a the safety of her stroller most of the time.

Charlee did ride in Bjourne and had a great time being nice and close to mom.. She would hang on to my arms anytime she saw an animal.. she wasn't to sure what to think of them!

You can't really tell from this picture but this polar bear is much to close for Charlee's comfort!

Monday afternoon we went back to Joans, hung out and then the whole family came over where we headed to the park and had dinner at Racines. It was wonderful spending so much time with the entire family! Charlee loved meeting everyone even if she was a little bit shy!

This little swing rocker was just Charlee's size at Wash park and she had a great time playing in it... until she figured she could get her self out and then all she wanted to do was get out to crawl around and check everything out.

Sunday we went to church and then headed to see some new born twins friends of ours had.. they were so little and made Charlee look like a toddler. It made me sad to think she wasn't a baby at all anymore! The entire time we were visiting... Charlee was busy furniture walking around the living room and getting into anything and everything she could find!

So Close

Charlee is getting so so so close to walking she can now balance and stand by herself for long periods of time, sometimes even with things in her hands. Most of the time I think she surprises herself that she can do it as well!

Charlee and the rest of the family are headed to Colorado this weekend, this will be her first meeting with many of the Colorado clan, it should be a great weekend.

10 months old!!

I know I can't believe it either! Charless was ten months old this weekend and she celebrated in style!! Saturday morning Jake and Zoey went and ran some errands so Charlee and I got to hang out just the two of us and it was wonderful!! Saturday afternoon we went out in Mimi and Grandpa's new boat. Charlee was a little cranky and it turns out she was... STARVING. For dinner that night she ate all of what would be her normal dinner plus half of Zoey's mac and cheese, then she was one happy happy girl.

Charlee has also figured out a way to get around with out crawling. She pushed the breakfast nook chairs around and follow behind them. Its pretty cute and I will admit its somewhat efficent.

Busy busy weekend

This weekend was Z's fourth birthday celebration and Charlee was a great great sister! She is cutting a couple of teeth so she wasn't in the best mood all of the time but she was a real trooper and had great time at the pool party and enjoyed spending time with Mimi and watching all of the kids play!!

Whats new???

 lot is new Charlee is getting her front tooth:) For the last couple of days she has been a little cranky and just not her normal happy go lucky self, well the reason why finally showed its self Wednesday night!! Charlee's bottom front tooth is starting to show. She has been cranky, had a diaper rash and really this little tooth at times is getting the best of her!! I am hoping that pretty soon it will stop hurting her but we have found out that Orajel is working pretty good to make her a little bit more manageable! Oh the things she will eat with that one tooth:)

so so busy!!

Charlee had a great weekend, but she is much to busy for any snuggling. Now that she can move that is all that she wants to do and she LOVES to play in the cupboards. The plastic cupboard is by far her favorite.. so many things to pull out and play with.

This weekend we went the The River Museum in Dubuque, they had a little cave room that you could climb through all the holes and check it all out. Of course Zoe climbed right in and wanted Charlee to come in and check it out as well, Charlee hung on to me like it was life or death.. she didn't like it all. So of course we were quick to leave.

Charlee had a little bout of upset stomach last week but had a great weekend and I think that is well in the past now.
