First time swimming

We went swimming for the first time on Monday at the Vinton Pool and Charlee slept through most of it.. she did wake up with enough time to watch some kids splash around and she seemed somewhat interested.. she has the whole summer in front of her so I didn't push it, for her first time she did a great job!!

We had a great three days spending time as a family... it was wonderful!

7 months old!!

Can you believe that Charlee is 7 months old?? I know that I can't!! Its just crazy how times flies!! She is doing great!! Sleeping through the night, its amazing how great it feels to say that! She loves let me say that again LOVES to eat and does a really good job! I don't think she has meet a food yet that she doesn't like! She loves her sister and she can now stand holding on to something.. let me tell you, when that happens she thinks she is pretty big stuff!!

She also went to her first wedding this weekend and was kind of fussy until she got set on the floor.. I know I have said this before but Charlee is not a cuddly baby and when I say that I mean not at all.. so she is all good just sitting on the floor doing her own thing.  I just love all of her indepence!!

She keeps rather busy with all of her new things and I just love her happy little spirit!

Happy 7 months sweet, sweet girl!

Look at me... Look at me....

Charlee has a new and what most would consider an amazing trick.. she can sit up all by herself and she is reaching all over for things. Her feet will fall out from behind her and she will end up on her hands and knees, this is way to high off the ground for her and I think she thinks the funnest part is falling to her stomach. She has changed so much and is at such a fun stage of making all sort of noises and watching EVERYTHING!!! Nothing gets by this girl!

Where does the time go..

I apologize for the lapse in posting.. I don't know where the time has gone. We have been doing really well. Charlee had a case of pink eye last week and she couldn't be happier that those eye drops are done. Not to bad for being 6 months and having her first run in with medicine. She has been a really health baby so far, now she is fighting a running nose and in case you were wondering... she hates to have her nose wiped.. so many time I find myself almost telling her to "blow" it strange the things you take for granted:)

We had a great mothers day weekend and spent plenty of time outside, the weather has been wonderful. We planted a lot of beautiful flowers and enjoyed each others company and the sunshine. It was wonderful.

Charlee can now sit up unsupported and reach for toys and play. She has a great time!! Every once a while she falls but it is great progress and she is doing a great job! We have had a baby swing in our living room ever since Charlee came home, and we are now having conversations about taking it down.. where does the time go?!?!?
