Easter

We had a great Easter! Charlee loved getting all dressed up loved looking just like her sister!! We went to brunch at a local event center and Charlee had a great time eating some fruit!

We spent the afternoon playing outside, going for walks and swinging!!

First steps

Of faith. Charlee was dedicated this Saturday at Prairie Lakes Church in Cedar Falls. We believe in believer baptism so when a child is young you can dedicate them and that means that you as parents are going to raise them in a god loving home and share your values with your kids. It was a very special day.

Charlee also turned 6 months today!! She is at such a fun stage!! She can almost sit up on her own now. She loves to shake her head from side to side like she is saying no. She loves to be tickled and giggles when you do it. She is most ticklish under her chin. She loves her feet... we have had to start putting Zoe socks on her to keep her away from her feet, but when she can get her toes, that is all she wants and is always trying to suck on them. She has tried several food, she has had green beans, carrots, peas and tonight she tried banana and loved it! She loves to watch Zoe and lights up when she is around her and of course Z loves her and loves to make her smile and laugh. She loves to jump in her jumperoo, I will get some picture of her in it this weekend.

Easily scared

Yesterday Jake got his hair cut and last night when he came home Charlee saw him and got very, very upset... possibly the most upset I have ever seen her. She was very scared, we think. Maybe the fact that she thought it was supposed to be him by his voice but it didn't look like him?? Still not real sure, but we were able to calm her down and then she must have figured out it was him because then she was happy to see him.

Charlee is doing great!! She loves to eat Carrots and we might try something else tonight.. really I think that she just loves to sit in her high chair with us when we eat dinner.. anything to be a little bit more grown up:)

A large feat

For a little gal!! It happened it really, really happend!! Charlee slept through the night!! This is what she looks like after a great night of sleep:)

Well hello!!

Tonight while taking a bath Charlee figured out that the person in the mirror was her.. I would have to say that she might think she is pretty cute:) rightly so!!

Charlee is doing great!! We were some what worried yesterday that she might have a little something going on with her ear but I have now determined that she just figured out that she has an ear and wanted to always make sure it was there:)

On Saturday night Zoe spent the night at Mimi's so it was just me, Charlee and Jake and since that time is so limited, it was wonderful!! We had a great evening of just playing with Charlee and taking her all in!!
